The Commemorative Coin
his year, visitors to the Chodsko Folk Festival can also buy the commemorative coin devoted to this event. First coin was made in 2009 to commemorate 70 years from the famous St. Laurence Fair. The coin depicts a bagpiper in front of St. Laurence church on Veselá hora. Last year, the coin with a picture of a dancing couple in front of the town gate was issued. In all cases, there is a coat of arms of Domažlice on the face of the coin.
This year, the coin will depict a watchman at the town tower. You can buy the coin for 50 CZK in the Tourist Information Office or from the salesmen in traditional costumes in the square during the festival.
